Performance lipids for sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) production.
We are building an advanced microbial technology platform that supplies high-yield, low-carbon lipid feedstocks directly to renewable fuel producers.
The problem
Aviation’s net-zero transition is bottlenecked by a severe shortage of scalable, low-cost feedstocks.
the clean fuel aviation will need every year by 2050

the ceiling on today’s only commercially proven route, as estimated by the largest producer of it
Neste, cited in the same assessment
Nearly all of the SAF flying today is made from seed oils and waste fats. The chemistry works, but the volume doesn’t. To achieve true commercial scale, the market urgently requires affordable, regionally sourced performance lipids that bypass traditional supply constraints.
Why now
The mandates are law. The feedstock is missing.
20% by 2035
Across the EU, SAF must make up a fifth of all aviation fuel by 2035, on the way to 70% by 2050. The obligation started at 2% in 2025 and steps up every five years.
ReFuelEU Aviation Regulation, in force since 1 January 2025
£4.70 a litre
What a supplier pays for every litre it falls short. The price of missing the target is written into the law itself.

Lowest CI wins
In the United States, a federal credit pays for every gallon of clean fuel produced, and state programmes pay again for the fuels with the lowest carbon footprint.

What we make
One process. Two products. Nothing left over.
We don’t rely on seed and waste oils. We precision-engineer lipids from above-ground carbon. Our process yields two high-value products — minimizing waste and maximizing margins from day one.
Low-cost carbon, not from fossil sources
near-zero waste
Lipids 2.0, made to specification
A second product, its own market

Why it matters
Three ways to source a lipid. Only one of them is engineered.
High CI & regulatory caps
Fragmented & fraud-prone
Ultra-low CI & zero food conflict
Sub-optimal yields
Variable & operational penalties
Engineered for target diesel
Commodity volatility
Spot market exposure
Long-term margin predictability
What that gives a refiner
Yield optimisation
An optimised lipid profile centred on target carbon chains removes the yield loss that comes with mixed feedstocks.
Supply chain security
Sourced regionally — no cross-border tariff exposure, no shipping delays, no scrutiny over imported waste provenance.
Capital protection
Predictable long-term pricing instead of daily spot swings, so input costs stay plannable.
Who we are
Scaling biotechnology is notoriously hard. We have done it before.
Our team brings decades of global expertise in microalgae and renewable fuels, turning lab science into full commercial operations. We know what it takes to build the future of SAF — and we are doing it right now. Stay tuned.
